1. How long have you been coming to Rev and how did you hear about it/ get started?
I’ve been coming to Rev since October 2018. It had been a long time since I was in a healthy exercise routine, and after hearing about Rev from many friends I finally stopped stalling. I went to Lauren’s Rev+Total Body with @gulloatlaw (where I got my butt kicked) and Mandy’s TRX with @cnlatta (where I also got my butt kicked), and was hooked immediately and never looked back.
2. What does your workout routine look like these days?
My work schedule can be unpredictable but I try to make it to spin, strength, or TRX classes at least 5 times a week, and I’ve been training with Mandy on Friday mornings since the summer and absolutely love it 🙂
3. What inspires you to stay motivated?
My job (and life in general, especially during COVID) can be incredibly stressful, and knowing I can come to Rev and let it all go for an hour a day is a huge help for pushing through. I also motivate myself by thinking back on the progress I’ve made in the last three years since joining Rev, which I’m proud of and want to keep up.
4. Fave Rev class and why?
TRX. Some days I’m ready for a really intense workout and sometimes I want a calmer, slow burn, and I feel like TRX really gives you the freedom to make it your own. I also love the ability to challenge myself to try new moves (or variations on a move)! (That said, I also absolutely love spin – RevRide and RevRhythm – and strength, you really can’t go wrong.)
5. Any health and wellness goals in mind for the coming year?
To keep it up! I started on a pretty intense pre-wedding exercise regimen and I would always leave class feeling so positive. I want to keep chasing that feeling and building on that progress even without the wedding to drive me.
6. If you could workout with anyone – living or passed on – who would it be and why?
Taylor Swift, because I feel like she would be a really good, fun, laid-back workout buddy…and maybe we could become best friends.
