Monday Motivator: Meet Joseph

Tell us a little bit about yourself:

I am  originally  from Long Island, but moved to Buffalo to attend D’Youville College for Nursing (currently a sophomore). One the main reasons why I chose Buffalo was for the snow and freezing temps (please don’t judge me) ! Joining Rev was honestly one of the best decisions of 2019 thus far. I started with the New Client week pass and fell in love from day one and knew that I needed to join. Since then I go almost every day and recently have been doing a lot of doubles the past two weeks! I am currently on my 34th class this month and its only the 23rd of March! All of my hard work is paying off and am definitely seeing big changes in my body and strength! I can finally do pushups!!! All of the instructors and staff at Rev are seriously the friendliest people with amazing personalities, you will not find a better community of people!! And also the music is always A++

What does #RevLife mean to you?

Dripping in sweat after doing a back to back Revshred and Revride classes! Seeing steam emit from my body after a workout. Wanting to

give up but having amazing instructors push me to succeed! Being carefully watched to make sure I have perfect form during every class so that I don’t injure myself and that I get the most out of my workout!

We all get in the zone in different ways. Where does your head go during a workout?

One day finally being able to be shirtless without any self doubt.

What’s your favorite class at Rev?

I plead the fifth.

What’s your favorite meal/snack to eat after a tough workout?

I love love love avocado toast with egg whites, goat cheese, and turkey bacon after an early morning spin class.

What’s your favorite place to brunch in Buffalo?

Tacos or pizza?

I feel like this a trick question to see if I am keeping up with my diet haha…. but tacos for sure.

Coffee or smoothie?

Coffee definitely, lots.

Early riser or night owl?

Beach or mountains?

Mountains, I have been dreaming to visit/hike the mountains in Banff, Canada

Winter or fall?

100% winter.
