Monday Motivator: Meet Cassidy
Helloooo Monday! We have a special place in our hearts for fellow entrepreneurs, and Cassidy has a pretty cool small business that focuses on a world without waste. It’s always awesome to see a boss babe doing big things at such a young age. Read more about her company, Impact Earth, below and also for the love of God, share some Buffalo brunch suggestions with her (she’s new here!)
Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I am a Rochester native that recently moved to Buffalo after living in San Diego for a year. I co-founded a small business, Impact Earth, in Rochester and currently work there as the Director of Sustainability. I pretty much live, eat, and breathe zero waste and the lifestyle that comes with it. I love the outdoors, hiking, camping, and riding my road bike. I also have two cats named Moose and Meadow and enjoy taking cute pictures of them. I first experienced spinning back when I lived in California and honestly fell in love, and I haven’t looked back. I actually lost about 25 pounds just in the first 6 months of spinning which has been an amazing journey and literally transformed my life and now my goal is to become a spin instructor 🙂
What does #RevLife mean to you?
It means community, it means hard work, and it means dedication.
We all get in the zone in different ways. Where does your head go during a workout?
I think about being healthy, about challenging myself, and being my best self. I get really pumped up by music that I have an emotional attachment to. Sometimes I zone out and I just think about beating myself in this 5 minutes from the previous 5 minutes, and I’m always trying to find out what my next 100% effort can look like.
What’s your favorite class at Rev?
I love spinning 🙂 but I also have recently found RevMVMT and now that’s like my favorite class to go to during the week! Shoutout to Mandy for being awesome and pushing me to push myself every class.
What’s your favorite meal/snack to eat after a tough workout?
I love my protein shake. I also really enjoy making myself a little finger food plate when I get home after a workout of cucumbers, carrots, tomatoes, and whatever other veggies I have laying around with hummus (or if I feel like I’ve earned it, ranch dressing!).
What’s your favorite place to brunch in Buffalo?
I’m actually so new to the area I don’t have one – I’d love some suggestions though! (Especially gluten free!)

Early Riser (although this is new for me, and I’ve had to work hard to make it happen)
