Monday Motivator: Meet Rosalind

“I’m also fairly certain that world peace could be achieved by giving everyone a slam ball.” – Rosalind

Our girl Rosalind, this week’s Monday Motivator, just gets us. Read on to hear her fabulous story!

Tell us a little bit about yourself.

I grew up about 40 minutes outside of Buffalo in Medina, NY. After graduating from Syracuse University (go Orange!) with a degree in advertising, I’ve been working as a copywriter at Crowley Webb ever since. I used to work at a horse camp in the summers and grew up riding competitively, so I still love to do that when I have the chance. I also love my dogs, Sam and Odin. And I’m a self-proclaimed quesadilla enthusiast!

What does #RevLife mean to you?

I moved to North Buffalo this January and was a little sad to leave my spin studio at home in Medina behind, especially because my mom (who will undoubtedly be reading this) teaches there. But I found all I was looking for (and more) at Rev!

To me, #RevLife means holding myself accountable, seeing how far I’ve come yet where I can still go, and having a great outlet for any stressful day. Everyone here is so positive and motivating.

We all get in the zone in different ways. Where does your head go during a workout?

Thankfully all of the instructors have killer playlists, so that’s usually enough for me! I’m also fairly certain that world peace could be achieved by giving everyone a slam ball.

What’s your favorite class at Rev?

Definitely TRX. I was a little intimidated by it when I first started coming to Rev, but after a few of the Rev+Core classes I decided to try it out and it became a fast favorite! I’ve never felt very knowledgeable about strength training and I like workouts that disguise cardio, so this takes care of both.

What’s your favorite meal/snack to eat after a tough workout?

Peanut butter and banana will forever be my go-to.

What’s your favorite dinner spot in Buffalo?

I’m constantly craving the miso caramel crab roll and sesame noodles from Seabar.

If you could choose your superpower, what would it be?

Hmm, I wish I could control the weather – especially living in Buffalo!

Who would play you in the movie version of your life?

Ideally, Blake Lively.
