Monday Motivators: Meet Briton

Back to Buffalo after 14 years, this week’s Monday Motivator, Briton, loves being back in her hometown. You can find her looking strong and focused on the TRX, or in one of her favorites, IndoRow. She recently tried our newest class format, RevMvmnt, and was sore for days! Check out Briton’s Q & A below and catch some of her awesomely positive vibes next time you’re at the studio.

Tell us a little bit about yourself.

I just recently moved back to Buffalo after living and working in Richmond and Syracuse for 14 years and am so happy to be back near family and and see how much Buffalo is growing. Thrilled with my new job at Customs & Border Protection and love living on the West Side. I’ve been spending most of my free time recently moving and working on my house (making time to work out whenever I can!), but looking forward to checking out more of what Buffalo has to offer and meeting new people!

What does #RevLife mean to you?

Rev has such a welcoming atmosphere, I’m so happy to have found it. To me, #RevLife means teamwork, motivation, energy, and community.

We all get in the zone in different ways. Where does your head go during class?

Coming to Rev is an escape for me, the part of my day where I can just focus on the workout, doing my best, and not worrying about anything else going on in my life.

What’s your favorite class format at Rev (RevRide, IndoRow, etc.) and why?

I love IndoRow because it’s different than anything else I do, but I tried RevMvmt for the first time last week and was sore for days!

What’s your favorite meal/snack to eat after a tough class?

I wish I could say it was something healthy, but it generally involves carbs.

What’s your favorite dinner spot in Buffalo?

One of my favorite things about being back in Buffalo is all the great restaurants! Too hard to choose just one, but love that Hydraulic Hearth has gluten free pizza, Left Bank is always delicious and Marble & Rye burgers are awesome. Could go on and on about the great restaurants here.

If you could choose your superpower, what would it be?

Time travel to see what life was like in the past (and future) and see family members again.

Who would play you in the movie version of your life?

Sandra Bullock.
