Monday Motivator: Meet Quin

This weeks Monday Motivation comes from our favorite Wegmans-working-UB-masters-student, Quin! Not only do we love seeing her smiling face when we cruise the isles at our fave grocery store, but we love sweating with her at Rev. She’s a fan of the 7am time slot, but hits up a Rev sweat sesh whenever she can. Read on to see what this girl is all about!


Tell us a little bit about yourself.

I graduated from St. Lawrence University this past May, and currently work at Wegmans, and am getting my Masters part-time at UB. I have a too-cute golden doodle named Teddy. One of my favorite things to do (in my free-time) is to check out new restaurants around Buffalo – major foodie here!


How do you stay motivated to come to class, especially on days when you’re just not feeling it?

Usually when my alarm goes off at 6:20am for the morning class, I try and convince myself that I’m too tired … but then I notice that I’m not going to fall back asleep so I mind as well get my booty in!


What are some little ways you stay active every day?

My job at Wegmans is quite active in itself, but walking my dog or bringing him to the park also helps me get moving a little each day.


What song gets you totally pumped during class?

Justin Bieber’s 2U!!


Who are your Rev ride-or-dies? (Workout buddies who keep you accountable.)

Currently accepting applications for Rev-friends!! Though, I would say I always make sure I get to Lauren and Amanda’s class- they kick my booty every time.

What’s something random you always have in your gym bag?

I always make sure I have a piece of fruit or yogurt with me … not sure if that’s random but …


Give us two truths and a lie. 

I’m so bad at these— here we go…

  1. I studied abroad in London in the beginning of college.
  2. I’m really good at scrabble.
  3. I love fun and funky socks.
