Monday Motivator: Meet Kelsey

Meet this week’s Monday Motivator, Kelsey! Born and raised in Buffalo, she’s a part-time dance instructor PLUS product manager at a local tech start-up. AND she still manages to crush it in class multiple times a week. Her faves? Hills, isolations and being a fur-mom to her Frenchie pup. Check out all the deets below.

Give us a quick background on yourself.

Born and raised in Buffalo, NY and currently enjoying downtown living! Graduated with my undergraduate degree and MBA from Canisius and currently work as a Product Manager at a local tech start-up, as well as part-time dance instructor. Love boating in the summer, trying new local restaurants, and being a fur-mom to my Frenchie puppy, Sir Winston.


Describe your best workout ever in just three words.

Good music, sweaty and sore.


What song(s) are you obsessed with right now?

There are so many, it’s hard to choose just three!  Sorry Not Sorry – Demi Lovato, Feels – Calvin Harris, Friends – Justin Bieber, Down – Fifth Harmony/Gucci Mane … and anything by Ed Sheeran or Taylor Swift!


​Any healthy habits to start/end your day?

I always try to start my day with some yogurt and granola, or a fruit and nut bar (except when brunching on Sundays) … and drink a lot of water throughout!


Any indulgences you just can’t live without?

Chocolate … and coffee. :0)


Favorite workout on the bike—hills, sprints, isolations or tap backs?​

Heavy hills and isolations.


Buffalo food truck you can’t live without?

I haven’t tried a ton … but I’d say Lloyd’s is always a must have.
