Mid-summer Monday Motivation comin' at ya with Ryan and Crystal this week! This adorable couple is majorly dedicated to sweatin' for their wedding. And even though the big day is a year out, they're still committed to rockin' their TRX and cycle workouts. Can never be too prepared! Read on to learn all about this fun duo.
1. Give us a quick background on yourself.
Ryan has been a Lead Salesforce Developer at Huron Consulting Group for about 4 years and Crystal is a Helpdesk Technician at Liaison International. We started going to Revolution Buffalo to get in shape for our wedding in August 2018. We have a puppy named Tucker who has way too much energy for us but we love him anyways.
2. Describe your best workout ever in just three words.
Crystal: Exhilarating. Exhausting. Encouraging
Ryan: Exhausting. Painful. Ow.
3. What song(s) are you obsessed with right now?
Crystal: Perfect by Ed Sheeran and anything else by him.
Ryan: Something Just Like This by the Chainsmokers and Coldplay
4. Any healthy habits to start/end your day?
Crystal: I'm trying to drink a glass of water at the start of my day and right before I go to sleep.
Ryan: I have been trying to drink a glass of water when I wake up and before I go to bed to make sure I stay hydrated. I've been trying to keep my water cup at work full and taking the stairs.
5. Any indulgences you just can't live without?
Crystal: Peanut Butter!!!
Ryan: Andes mint chocolates.
6. How do you help each other stay motivated?
Crystal: Ryan is new to working out but his body is meant to be like a body builder and I'm very impressed on how quickly he's developing muscles and super proud of him.
Ryan: Crystal has always gone to the gym several times a week and seeing her being so consistent has really helped me push myself to go to more classes. Also having someone forcing you to get out of bed for that 7am Spin class really helps.
7. Buffalo food truck you can't live without?
Crystal: I don't know a lot of food trucks, but I hear there's a french fry food truck.
