1. Give us a quick background on yourself.
I grew up and still live in Kenmore, I'm a slightly obsessed, proud cat mom and dog sister (I do have a human sister too!). I graduated from Niagara University with a degree in Finance and now work in accounting at Avalon Document Services. I found Rev after going to Lauren's Bride Ride and love taking the different classes that are offered. In my free time, I love running (I'm currently training for a 15K in August), baking, reading, and binge watching TV shows - lately it's been Law and Order:SVU.

2. Describe your best workout ever in just three words.
10 K Race.

3. What song(s) are you obsessed with right now?
Does a Pandora station count? Rump Shaker Radio. My coworker introduced it to me, it's a mix of classic late 80's and 90's hip hop and rap.

4. Any healthy habits to start/end your day?
Water! I make sure to start drinking it early and keep hydrated throughout the day. I also try to start or end my day with a really good work out to get myself going in the morning, or wind down at the end of the day.

5. Favorite workout on the bike - hills, sprints, isolations or tap backs?
Sprints - there's something really awesome about seeing how hard I can push myself.

6. Buffalo food truck you can't live without?
Cheesy Chick, but Lloyd's is a close second.

7. Favorite Buffalo Spring activity?
Going for exploring walks with my boyfriend Mike and my dog Jewell. We just start walking and turn or change direction whenever Jewell feels like it. We always end up in a different neighborhood, and get about 5 miles in.

Monday Motivator: Meet Caitlin

When our friends are our clients, we make sure to not be the nominator - no bias allowed! Caitlin was picked to be this week's Monday Motivator soley because of her dedication (she's on a 12 day in a row Rev streak!). She's an amazing athlete and runner, getting into spin to go easy on her knees during the running off-season. Beyond that, Caitlin is hilarious, successful in her career, and a super-loyal friend. And dedicated to her healthy habits, she's also got a crazy sweet tooth to balance it all out.

1. Give us a quick background on yourself.
I live in the Elmwood Village with my husband Tim and our handsome son (dog) Duke. I work in sales at Dell Technologies. I really love running, drinking red wine, sleeping, and of course coming to Rev! Such a great workout.

2. Describe your best workout ever in just three words.
Marathon, not easy!

3. What song(s) are you obsessed with right now?
I can't keep up with all of these new hips songs! I've been listening to Elton John a lot. Taylor Swift is obviously a fan favorite too.

4. How do you and your husband help each other stay motivated to workout?
We love going to dinner and indulging. Drinks and dessert, that's our motivation!

5. Any healthy habits to start/end your day?
I honestly eat a donut every morning, but it keeps me in check through out the rest of the day. Ending my day with Revolution is such a stress relief. Love working out at the end of the day.

6. Favorite move on the TRX?
Just took my first TRX class recently, still getting those moves down!

7. Buffalo food truck you can't live without?
I've never eaten from a food truck, I know, blasphemy. But if I had to pick one, the OG - Mister Softee.

8. Favorite Buffalo winter activity?
Sitting under a blanket watching Bravo and Lifetime! #basic

1. Give us a quick background on yourself.

I grew up in Buffalo, moved away for a while and then came back ... I'm so glad I did, I love this city! I work for a great local HR Consulting firm. I love volunteering for some favorite local nonprofits, going to concerts and music festivals, traveling, spending time outdoors in the spring/summer/fall, and hanging with family, friends, and my awesome dog Miles. I've always been active but my overall fitness had taken a nosedive over the past several years and I wasn't sticking with any kind of regular exercise. Wanting to reverse that, i tried a class at Rev and I quickly got hooked - the instructors, variety of classes and the overall vibe here are amazing. I can honestly say I look forward to Rev classes and I never thought I'd say that about going to a gym!

2. Describe your best workout ever in just three words.
New personal best.

3. What song(s) are you obsessed with right now?
I love all kinds of different music but a few that have been in heavy rotation lately are Roll Up by Fitz & the Tantrums, Morocco by Moon Taxi, and Something To Believe In by Young the Giant

4. What helps you stay motivated to workout?
I feel so good when I get done with a class, so when I'm feeling like I want to stay in bed in the morning I just think about how great I'll feel afterwards and it gets me up and going.

5. Any healthy habits to start/end your day?
I start most days with a big glass of water and a Rev class - best way to start the day! At night I try to drink chamomile tea, helps me get great sleep so I'm ready to go for those early morning classes.

6. Favorite move on the TRX?
Handstands! I also love atomic push ups, both moves make me feel really strong.

7. Buffalo food truck you can't live without?
Amy's Truck.

8. Favorite Buffalo winter activity?
Hibernation! Just kidding ... I like going down to Ellicottville in the winter, I also like ice skating, and this winter I want to try those ice bikes at canal side!
