Monday Motivators: Meet Kara

1. Give us a quick background on yourself.
Growing up I was never into playing sports (and just never any good!) so I was never that particularly active. It wasn't until after college that I decided to be more active and make fitness a priority. I started off with a monthly membership at one of the bigger chain gyms in the area but only ever did group classes - I hate working out on my own. I started coming to Rev last summer right after they moved into their current location at the recommendation of a friend and have become hooked! I never knew workouts could be this awesome.

2. Describe your best workout ever in just three words.
Rev + Barre Combo!

3. What song(s) are you obsessed with right now?
Beck - WOW
Mumford & Sons - There Will Be Time
Anything by Tame Impala

4. Is there a mantra that motivates you?
Not a particular mantra, I just love knowing that if I have a long day at work I can come to Rev and sweat it out and instantly feel better.

5. Any healthy habits to start/end your day?
I try to drink a big glass of water as soon as I wake up and with the warmer weather I usually take my dog for a short walk. It helps wake both of us up!

6. Favorite move on the TRX?
It's hard to choose a favorite, I love how each move is challenging and you can modify them to make it more or less so.

7. Favorite Buffalo Food Truck?
My recent favorite has been Lomo Lomo and of course, Lloyd! I live down the street from the Taco Factory so I'm probably there more than I should be.

8. This or that?
Rosé or margaritas: White wine
Hip-hop, Pop, Oldies or EDM for spinning: Definitely hip-hop
